Passion of the Christ

2004 – This movie came out long before Mel Gibson’s taped phone call meltdowns with ex-girlfriend Oksana in 2011.  Howard had always said that Mel’s father was a well-known Jew-hater, and that Mel felt the same way, and this movie proved his point.  Every Jew in the movie is portrayed as hook-nosed and evil.  Howard called this movie the “Jew-Hating Movie” and said that Daniel Carver gave it 3 burning crosses.  The slogan was “See it with a Jew, and make him pay!”  Then Howard decided to make his own “Passion of the Stern” with his parents yelling at him about his problems with the FCC.

In “The Passion of the Stern”, his mother yells at him “What’s wrong with you?” and “Now look what you’ve done” about being an FCC target after the Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction.  Robin said that from his telling of the story, she couldn’t tell whose side his parents were on with this.
