Wizard of Oz, The

1939 – During the tropical storm Sandy, Howard, Robin, Fred and Shuli all goofed on Gary not being dependable to get to work the next day.  They talked of watching the Wicked Witch of the West cycling by his window, and then Howard said, in the Gary voice, “I didn’t go home, and Mary ended up in Oz.”  The day after the storm, Howard said he’s watched a documentary on TV about this storm, and in it a house had gotten blown away, and there was Ronnie the Limo driver standing there with a huge lolly pop singing “The Lolly Pop Guild.”

From   Howard was talking about the show Cheers, saying they have the world’s ugliest barmaids at that bar.  Howard said he’d go in there asking if that was one of he Wizard of Oz’s flying monkeys.  Howard said at the end of Cheers they could have Rhea Perlman flying off like one of those monkeys.”

Robin’s news: the story of the Pastoriuis guy up for murder.  Robin says he cried in the courtroom.  Howard said he rusted like the Tin Man in the Wizard of Oz.

Howard says he rode bikes with Ralph and Ralph was all decked out with the shorts and no shirt, and that Howard rides a bike looking like the Wicked Witch of the West from the Wizard of Oz
